We used to raise pit bulls when I was a kid. One day one of the neighbor’s chickens got out and the dogs, being pit bulls, killed one. My mother got the bright idea to tie the two dogs together witht the chicken in between them. Her concept was that it would rot there and that would teach them a lesson. I’m not making this up. My mother is Polish.
You can imagine what happened next. Those two dogs nearly killed each other to get the dead chicken first.
That’s what your mind is like when your two brain hemispheres, left and right, are at odds with each other… indecisiveness, inner turmoil, second guessing yourself. When not working as a team, the logical mind wants one thing and the creative mind wants something entirely different.
If you see yourself in this description, don’t fret. There is hope. There are several simple and quick, brain balancing techniques you can use to get your mental horsepower working in tandem.
Balancing Tip #1: Cross Crawls– And you thought this was just an exercise tip.

Tip #2 comes tomorrow.
