“San Antonio– the City of Murals”

One of my visions for the city of my birth is to see it become “the City of Murals.” We have some great murals on the south side of town. I live close to Blue Star Art Complex. There is a really cool mural going up close to Blue Star near the intersection of S. Alamo and Probandt. It depicts several historical buildings on the south side, like Pioneer Flour Mills. It was written about in the SA Express-News a couple of months ago. Here are some photos of the work in progress. Come check it out when you get a chance. I’ll write more about some of the neat things you can see on the South side in later entries.
