Week #26 Mental Yoga: Make a Wonder List

Above my desk I have a greeting card from StoryPeople that says, “She said she usually cried at least once each day not because she was sad, but because the world was so beautiful & life was so short.”

So today, start a Wonder List. You can do it as part of a daily meditation or just whenever you’re feeling down and need to pick yourself up. Trust me. It’s impossible to make a list of things that fill you with a sense of wonder and still feel depressed or angry or anxious or anything negative.

Here are some questions to ponder to help you get started:

What was your last experience that ‘took your breath away’?
When did you last cry tears of joy?
Name someone whom you consider one of the best examples of humanity that you know.
When you think of the phrase: “Beautiful beyond words,” what comes to mind from your personal experience?
If you were the best person you could possibly be, who would you be like?
