101 Ways to Be Really Happy: Step #70– Get Back to Nature

One of my favorite happiness steps is one I practice on a daily basis: getting back to nature. Since I live 3 minutes from the San Antonio River, I like to walk my dogs there. We get quality-time together; we all get exercise; I frequently meet nice folks (either tourists or natives) and the scenery is spectacular. Being in nature is a spiritual experience for me since my philosophy is “God is in the trees.”

Since I’m on a roll with Meetup.com, I am listing the meetups happening in San Antonio over a one-week period that relate to getting back to nature.

If you can’t find a group that works for you, I would be very surprised.
