Maybe you did this as a kid, or maybe you didn’t. But it’s fun to do it as an adult, too.
CHASE A RAINBOW.
Next time you see a rainbow, just get in your car and follow it to where you think one of the end points should be. While you are in pursuit, tell yourself, “Whatever I find when I stop is an important message for me.”
Life gives us messages all the time. We just aren’t usually open to receive them.
Watch the movie Serendipity with John Cusack for inspiration. Yes, it’s a chick flick, but it has a great message, too.
Then you can stop randomly when it feels right, or set a time limit. When you get to your stopping point, stop look around and BECOME AWARE. (This idea goes along perfectly with the previous one about Living in the Now.) Try it for yourself. It is FUN.
I like to journal about what I find and what connections it brings up for me. Then I like to be aware that entire day or week of the messages that continue to come up from it. You can even use this as a problem solving technique. The solutions your own subconscious mind has just waiting for you will truly amaze you.
